The Personal Project

The personal project should reflect a portion of its creator. For this reason, the subjects chosen should interest us, to motivate us to do something that will help us and our community, to have a more enriching and effective relevance. Meanwhile, I think the reason why I decided to overtake this project will give me the motivation I need to accomplish the assigned documentary.
Indeed, I have decided to address the enigma of the orphan situation in Egypt with an informative and educational documentary, to offer this nation sufficient information to enable them to distinguish between truth, misleading cultural beliefs and religious beliefs indirectly mutated by some "professionals" in the field. In reality, the Egyptian people like to manipulate theories and cultural values, damaging several stereotyped social categories, such as orphans
Moreover, this documentary will contain, as specified above, two parts, the first informative as it will inform the public of the specific case of orphans, how they are treated and their living conditions in different types of organizations or orphanages. In contrast, the second part will dominate the content of the documentary as it will be dynamic and contain advice and solutions offered by mental health professionals, managers and those responsible for these children in their orphanages. In addition, it will contain the orphans themselves, playing the role of the emotional factor in the documentary, as I filmed them to offer the spectators audiovisual information.

Life's Most Joyful Existence

Friends are some of life's most joyful existences. A friend is the one you could be yourself around, no barriers, no worries. Friends supplement each other with the most important life factors. In a friend, love, care, support, acceptance and honesty should be present. I personally believe, trust is the essence of every relationship.
A true friend is the one you would share everything with, the one you would let go of all your immunity systems around, the one you would have the most fun with and the one you would rely on and find, when you need. In exchange, the ones you would consider friends, you should love infinitely, unconditionally, always and forever.
For some, being friends is easy, for others, who use what i call, immunity systems or protection barriers, friendship isn't exactly the easiest deal. Those people, I believe, do need time to fully commit to a relationship, to let friends in, to respect and accept their definite presence in their lives. However, these particular people don't build these defensive mechanisms out of nowhere.
Betrayal is a tough act to swallow. As one gets betrayed by a loved one, time and again, they feel the necessity of those reactive outbursts of defense. Although they're hard to get, when they love, care, respect, support or confide, they do it to the fullest. These people are genuine in an inexplicable way, their capacity to give and not ask of anything in return, is beautifully priceless.
For each and everyone of us, there's this one friend, who's just unique, this one person we would give everything to keep. The presence of such an extraordinary relationship, in which one is supposed to be "all in," is simply, the most nurturing and nonexchangeable blessing one could ever have the fortune of owning or maintaining.
"Unconditional love, unquestionable trust, infinite support, tremendous care and definite presence," these are the qualities of life's most joyful existence and you'd be lucky to find "the one," miraculously a couple of those, should make your life a living "heaven."

Constitution - Where are we heading?

The constitution is where every government sets its laws, by which the nation’s population must abide, in order to set common ground rules, equality and acceptance.
Since the Egyptian revolution, we have all been waiting for the new constitution, whether it would be modified or rewritten. However, as it has been mentioned, since it is Egypt we’re discussing, all must evidently transpire backwards.
Every nation normally sets its constitution and then undergoes parliamentary and presidential elections. Ironically enough, Egyptians decided to take the high way, as the nation’s people chose elections, followed by the constitution of the constitution. Consequently, as the Islamic parties have dominated the new parliament, with only two women representing this historically, culturally balanced country, a question has been pressing on the minds of every moderate or liberal believer. Where are we heading?

New Year's Resolution

New Year’s Eve is a once in a year day, when people celebrate the fresh start of a new year. On this day, some hope for a new beginning, some over look the past year with its sad memories or miseries, and wish for a better start, while others hope for a year as good or better as the previous one. Consequently, people always tend to think about the intriguing thought of a fresh start, or a new beginning, so the first thing that comes to mind is a resolution. However, I object the mentalities of those who await the end of a year, or the beginning of another, to decide to change, or improve, something they thought necessary, or those who wish to turn the page, and never look back, make amends, rediscover themselves, or even redefine who they are, in order to serve themselves, the people they care about or their communities righteously. Evidentially, that is because I believe we don’t need a new year, just a date written down on the calendar, everyday to me is a new beginning, a new, and fresh start. For that reason, we shouldn’t waste our lives waiting for a new year to take a step forward, defining who we are, or our relationships with others. Life is short, we are meant to spend every minute doing what we believe fits it the most. In consequence, I do not have a new year’s resolution, since I do not believe in its existence. I tend to take decisions, or have a resolution whenever I think it is necessary, meaning I don’t waste my life feeling incomplete, confused, or in need of change, and do nothing about it. That to me is considered as an excuse, meant to hide weaknesses, pretending I’m just waiting for the right day, the right moment, or the right place to take another step forward. There is no better time for change.

Globalization

Globalization is the act of worldwide integration and development. Consequently, that means worldwide social, economical, political common ground, connecting all nations. Globalization could be considered as the international expansion of development in all life’s fields.
Globalization is very economically beneficial. Typically, companies and organization are divided into several categories. The so called multinational organizations are those on action concerning globalization as they exist in every developed and developing country. Although, the existence of those innumerable companies is very beneficial to both the economies of its owners and the consumers’ countries, as it doesn’t only support the country but the people as well, as these corporations offer multiple job opportunities to all the citizens’ social classes due to the diversity of the positions, and as it decreases the poor, it yet creates some sort of informality between the nations, eliminating their different individual characteristics and unique traits, indirectly spreading certain values, norms or traditions in other cultures under the entitlement of economical expansion while it is at the end of the day, some sort imperialism, as the military colonization times are long gone.
Furthermore, I would personally consider political organizations such as the United Nations as purposes of political globalization. The United Nations portrays a uniform manner of handling political issues on a worldwide platform. The United Nations is a mean of sharing crucial political decisions between every sovereign nation, but yet again, controlled by the leading powers. For example, decisions in the United Nations take place according to equal vote, yet as mentioned previously, the leading powers have the upper hand leading every side whatever that is being discussed, able to singlehandedly put a stop to any agreement, unbeneficial to their agendas or to their allies’.
In a conclusive note, globalization is a very beneficial and applied procedure. However, it gives the upper hand to the leading, developed powers, whether economically, socially, or politically.

Winter Vacation

This winter vacation was unlike any other vacation for me. During the first week, I spent most of my time on my laptop, watching new series, or new episodes that had just been aired. I started a couple of new series, I liked one but disliked the other. In addition, I went out a couple of time with my friends and we had fun. My friend and I were ditched by a third friend that couldn't make it because her parents decided that on the last minute, since there were gun shots all over her neighborhood that afternoon. However, the second week was much better that the first, since I spent most of it doing interesting stuff with family and friends. Moreover, there has been an attempt to study that week that fell very short. My friend and i were supposed to meet up later that week to work on our math homework, then hang out and do anything else. Even though that was the plan, we ended up having lunch, or you might call it dinner, since she was really late and came at about seven or eight, while she was supposed to be there at about four or five. Later, we returned home to study, but ended up talking and doing anything but study, since we really didn't understand a thing. Later, during the last day of the vacation, on Saturday, I ended up doing all my home works in about an hour and a half, or maybe a couple of hours, to go back to school and realize I had to do this blog, then get back to wasting my time on school work...
